PYP Exhibition Days 10- 18, 27th _ 29th February, 12th-16th March 2012
Over the last two weeks for the PYP Exhibition, we did a recap on the essential elements. We discussed what a central idea is and how we can write it in an effective manner. We made a concept map which included the important points while arriving at the central idea. We discussed the avocado graphic organizer too. We saw a video on how another school had made their central idea(s). We talked about how an appropriate and relevant central idea can be made keeping every body’s interest and issues in mind.
After the Holi break we moved forward with our preparation for the Exhibition. We collated our individual Central Ideas. We realized most of the groups will be having one or two common central Ideas. After much discussion, almost all of us had been able to finalize a Central Idea in our groups which was generic in nature, and we explored further by beginning to plan the lines of inquiry individually.
